A celebration of women and families connecting with nature along Boon Wurrung/Bunurong Country.
Each piece provides a uniquely modern approach to sharing Aboriginal culture, reflected in the use of soft environmental paint colours alongside vibrant modern palettes. The use of varied dot sizes and line patterns creates diverse textures throughout. Maloga (sand) is added as a reflection of my grandmother's country and the beach.
All artworks and stories respect the Aboriginal Landscape and Traditional Country of the Boon Wurrung/ Bunurong People and Yorta Yorta people, respecting the deep and continuing connection the Traditional Owners have to these lands and waters and their continuous ongoing care for Country.
